This publication titled “Innovation and R&D will be critical for EU competitiveness and sustainability”, published by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) examines the crucial role that innovation and research and development (R&D) will play in the timely fulfilment of the EU’s competitiveness and sustainability goals.

The findings of this publication are especially important, in light of the upcoming reveal of the next Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF), expected to take place in mid to late July 2025.
