We would like to inform you about an exciting opportunity to participate in the call for volunteers for the European Regional Competitiveness Policy Lab (EuroCOMP), a partnership between the European Commission and the World Bank. This initiative is open to managing authorities and intermediate bodies responsible for funding business creation, expansion, or reconversion.

The European Regional Competitiveness Policy Lab (EuroCOMP) is a strategic partnership between the European Commission and the World Bank, aimed at improving the effectiveness of cohesion policy programs supporting companies. By integrating innovative experimental approaches and evidence-based analysis, the EuroCOMP Lab seeks to address key challenges for Europe’s competitiveness, with a particular focus on regional development and lagging regions. 

Managing authorities and intermediate bodies responsible for funding business creation, expansion, or reconversion are invited to participate in this initiative. Selected participants will benefit from:

• Insights into innovative methods and plans;

• Technical assistance for program design and outreach strategies;

• Capacity-building workshops (19-23 May 2025);

• Support for implementing and evaluating new mechanisms to enhance participation and fund disbursement.
