The Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) is an innovative, collaborative initiative, with EURADA as a subcontracted organization aimed at addressing the demographic challenges faced by EU regions experiencing a decline in tertiary-educated populations. By facilitating knowledge exchange and strategic planning across four thematic working groups—digital, health, research & innovation, and territorial development—HTP empowers regions to attract, train, and retain talent.

The latest meeting, held on October 11, 2024, at the European Commission’s DG REGIO, brought together stakeholders to assess progress, explore cross-cutting synergies, and refine strategies for future actions. As the HTP continues to align with other EU initiatives, it paves the way for strengthened regional talent frameworks, with a high-level annual event set for 2025 to further advance its mission.
