On 18 April 2024, EURADA and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) hosted their third webinar for Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), focusing on European Intellectual Property (IP). The collaboration, initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding in Spring 2021, aims to support small businesses with IP training, knowledge sharing, and event participation. This year's webinar highlighted the importance of EU Designs protection. Discussions emphasised the significance of IP protection and registration for SMEs, stressing it as an investment rather than a cost. Additionally, insights were shared regarding the SME fund, offering financial support for IP protection for SMEs.
