We would like to inform you about that the registration for the upcoming EURADA - EUIPO Webinar on Intellectual Property, scheduled to be held on 18 April 2024 from 10:00-11:30 CEST is now open. We invite you to join us for this interactive session aimed at enhancing RDA’s understanding of EU initiatives concerning IP for local SMEs. This year, prioritising a dynamic session tailored to the needs of attendees, we will emphasise the Protection of EU Designs.

In Spring 2021, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and EURADA signed a collaboration agreement to promote services that support small businesses, including activities such as training in Intellectual Property (IP), knowledge sharing, event participation, and awareness raising. Since then, EURADA and EUIPO have co-organised an annual webinar aiming to equip Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) with a comprehensive understanding of EU initiatives concerning IP for local SMEs.

The event, which will take place on 18 April 2024 from 10:00-11:30 CEST, is the third edition of this webinar series. This year’s session will have a special focus on the Protection of EU Designs, a crucial aspect of IP that directly impacts businesses and individuals from across the EU. There will be insightful discussions covering topics such as SME Fund 2024 (with a focus on new IP scan enforcement), a comprehensive exploration of the design protection system in the EU and brainstorming sessions to gather valuable insights and address specific needs. Moreover, since the webinar is open to a rather small audience, we intend to make it as interactive as possible, ensuring that the session is tailored to your needs and preferences.
